Vacheron Constantin

Founded in 1755 by Jean-Marc Vacheron, Vacheron Constantin is noted for being the oldest continuously running watch brand today. Vacheron Constantin is part of the so-called Holy Trinity of fine Swiss watchmaking, alongside Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet.

The brand is celebrated for its collection of elegant dress watches, such as the Patrimony and Traditionnelle, as well as its range of high-complication pieces like perpetual calendars, tourbillons, and minute repeaters. Similar to the two other members of the Trinity, Vacheron Constantin has also manufactured high-end sports watches since the 1970s, starting with the 222 and then followed by the exceedingly popular Overseas. The Malte collection is named after Vacheron Constantin’s emblematic Maltese Cross symbol and the watches are characterized by their tonneau-shaped cases.

Two relatively recent additions to Vacheron Constantin’s lineup are the vintage-inspired FiftySix and the ladies’ Égérie collections. One of the most interesting Vacheron Constantin watch collections is the Historiques, which is home to reissues of historically significant timepieces. Some examples include the Historiques American 1921, Historiques Cornes de Vaches 1955, and Historiques Triple Calendrier 1942. The Métiers d’Art line serves to showcase Vacheron Constantin’s dedication to traditional decorative techniques while the Heures Créatives is a selection of vintage-inspired jewelry watches for women.

Aside from impeccably designed timepieces, Vacheron Constantin is also renowned for its mastery of mechanical movement manufacturing. Furthermore, Vacheron Constantin's movements are beautifully decorated using a range of traditional methods, and many bear the prestigious Poinçon de Genève or Hallmark of Geneva.
