It was a revolutionary idea during an era when watchmaking skills were traditionally spread across small workshops. The company became Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1937 when the founder’s grandson, Jacques-David LeCoultre, joined forces with renowned French watchmaker Edmond Jaeger.
