The Rolex 126600 made its debut in 2017, marking the 50th anniversary of the original Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller, which debuted in 1967.

This Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller 126600 is made of oystersteel and features a Cerachrom black ceramic bezel insert and an oyster bracelet.
It is distinguished by its black dial and large luminescent hour markers. In addition, the Rolex Sea-Dweller is water-resistant to 1,220 meters (4,000 feet) and features a unidirectional 60-minute rotatable bezel. One of Rolex's ultra-resistant divers' watches is designed for deep-sea exploration.

The black dial of the Sea-Dweller features Rolex's signature large hands and indices. In addition, the dial features a red Sea-Dweller name, a nod to the original model. The dial's innovative Chromalight display pushes the boundaries of visibility in low-light conditions. Its distinctive blue glow lasts up to eight hours with consistent luminosity, nearly twice as long as conventional luminescent materials.

Rolex's steel watch cases are made of Oystersteel. Oystersteel is a proprietary material developed by the brand. It is a member of the 904L steel family, most frequently used in high-technology, aerospace, and chemical industries, where corrosion resistance is critical. Oystersteel is h durable, polishes beautifully, and retains its beauty even in extreme environments.

The mechanical automatic self-winding Rolex caliber 3235 movement powers this Rolex Sea-Dweller 50th Anniversary 126600. It is rhodium-plated with fausses cotes embellishment and equipped with the new Chronergy escapement, with extremely high energy output and reliability. It is composed of nickel and phosphorous and is magnetically insensitive. An optimized blue Parachrom hairspring is connected to the oscillator, a Rolex overcoil, and a monometallic anti-magnetic balance adjusted for temperature and five positions. Fourteen new patents have been issued for movement 3235.

This timepiece comes as a complete set and is delivered with the original Rolex box and the card dated 12/2021.
