THE INTRODUCTION & DESIGN
The eponymous watch factory of A. Lange & Söhne was founded in Glashutte, Germany, and is said to produce about 5000 watches yearly. With a revered reputation among collectors of an informed background, it maintains its position as an industry-defining niche brand.
The round-shaped, solid three-body case features a flat, angled bezel, downturned lugs, and a fluted push/pull crown with A. Lange & Söhne engraving, all of which is polished—this A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia 206.032 watch contains a mechanical manual winding A. Lange & Söhne caliber L 941.1 movement adorned with Fausses Côtes and Côtes de Geneve, with 21 jewels, 164 components, and a shock absorber device for increased robustness. In addition, it has 18K rose gold sword-shaped hands, black painted stick-shaped small seconds hand, and a sapphire crystal display case back secured with six screws.
THE MOVEMENT
The 1815 timepiece boasts a straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjustable to five positions, and self-compensating Nivarox® flat balance spring, among other features. In addition, its swan-neck micrometer regulator, hand-engraved balance bridge, and precision beat adjustment system with whiplash spring contribute to the device's accuracy. This device is named after Ferdinand A. Lange, born in 1815 in Glashütte and an iconic figure in Germany's precision watchmaking industry. It operates with a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). The case, movement, and dial are all signed with the A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte I/SA marking at 12 o'clock and the "Made in Germany" inscription at 6 o'clock.

Warranties & Repairs
At Twain Time, trust is our timepiece's best friend. Our commitment to quality spans every pre-owned watch and mechanical marvel in our collection. Should the unexpected occur, count on us to swiftly make things right. We treasure our clients' satisfaction and trust above all else—this ethos echoes through every member of our team.
Each pre-owned watch undergoes meticulous, non-invasive mechanical scrutiny and servicing if needed. This ensures they not only meet but exceed our stringent standards for accuracy and functionality.
Rest easy knowing that unless otherwise noted, our pre-owned watches come with a robust warranty—either full or limited—spanning twelve months. However, this doesn't cover damages from misuse or accidents. Given their age, some watches may require gentler treatment than when they were brand new.
For those watches serviced by their original manufacturers, they bear the manufacturer's guarantee, surpassing our standard warranty. You have a 5-day window for hassle-free returns from receipt, provided the product is unworn, undamaged, and retains its original tag. We offer exchanges or full refunds via the original payment method for qualifying returns.
Exceptions include personalized, worn, or damaged items, as well as missing accessories. Exchanges allow exploration of our diverse pre-owned and luxury watch selection. Return items should be unworn with all original packaging intact, and jewelry returns must maintain their original condition.
Special order items and certain criteria are exempt from the standard return policy. Our comprehensive returns and exchanges policy, available for full information, applies to in-stock items and excludes consigned, special, or custom orders. Contact us for special order exchange details.
In case of difficulty meeting return conditions, contact us for discussion and authorization before initiating the process.

Trust Is Paramount
"Adriana was so incredibly knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. It was my first big watch purchase, and I couldn’t have felt in better hands. She made herself available and like I was a truly valued customer. I’d go back to her without question. We had a couple of hiccups that made the process longer than desired, but these were out of her control, and she did everything she could to correct them."
