The Patek Philippe caliber 12''120 manual winding movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses côtes embellishment. It's stamped with the quality Mark of Geneva. It is constructed with 18 jewels and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance adjusted for heat, cold, and isochronism, five positions, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and a micrometer regulator.
Dial, case, and movement are signed.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 1578 from 1943 until approximately 1965.
Like its chronograph counterpart, reference 1579, reference 1578 is distinguished by its faceted "spider lugs." In addition, the model was cased in yellow, pink, and white gold, featuring both subsidiary seconds and center seconds. 
The silver dial with rose-gold Arabic numerals at 12, 3, and 9 o'clock, baton markers, and the outer 60-second track are in fine shape.
Over the past seven decades, the 18K rose gold bezel, and lugs with the snap-back case have acquired a slight patina.

Returns & Exchanges
