This is a wonderful example of 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe ref. 2526 retailed by Serpico y Laino. Its outstanding condition enhances the rarity of the present specimen, and the retailer's mark Serpico y Laino – Patek Philippe’s agent in Caracas – signed on the enamel dial and the initials “S & L” stamped on the case back. The "type D" guilloché brique-form original gold bracelet was manufactured by Gay Frères (founded in 1835 in Geneva) with “GF” initials stamped on the buckle. The push/pull 18K yellow gold crown is adorned with sculpted opposing 'Ps,' making it very distinctive.
