The 2012 Patek Philippe Calatrava 5123 combines a clean and traditional design with a modern case size. It is a contemporary take on the classic Calatrava ref. 2526, with the same dauphine-shaped hands, minute track, and indexes. Its 38mm case is small compared to current trends, but its small lugs and narrow strap make it appear much larger. The 18K rose gold case has a fixed bezel, a brown leather strap, a silvery opaline dial with faceted sword hands, gold applied hour markers, beaded minute divisions around the outer rim, and a simple cross above six o'clock for the constant seconds subdial, and a simple cross above six o'clock for the constant seconds subdial.
