Not many people know that Vacheron Constantin used to source its movements from Jaeger-LeCoultre. This Jaeger-LeCoultre Triple Calendar is an outstanding illustration of how the two brands paired on certain models.

This example features an original silver dial with 18k rose gold dauphine hands and 18k rose gold index with the 3, 9, and 12 in Arabic numerals while the rest are faceted pyramid indices exhibits minor discoloration due to normal use and age. This is quite unusual, as most dials from that era have been refinished. It has a small seconds subdial recessed at the 6-hour position. The outer ring with Arabic numerals indicates the month's date, and its red font matches the color of the day and month discs, which are displayed in English via two distinct apertures at the 12-hour position. The arrow-shaped date hand indicator is also red to complement the dial and calendar's red font.

The mechanical manual winding Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 484/A movement is gilt brass, with fausses côtes embellishment. It's constructed with 15 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber device. It includes a monometallic balance and a self-compensating flat balance spring.
This mechanism oscillates at the frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz)
