The Reverso has been the company's most celebrated collection for the past 86 years, a feat few other brands can claim. Since its debut in 1931, the Art Deco design of the Reverso with its flip-over case has proven to be surprisingly adaptable to variations; from ultra-thin to highly decorated, quartz to complicated, it is regarded as an icon.

Created as a jewelry accessory for women, the Reverso eventually gained popularity among men and became the watch of choice among polo players in India during the British colonial era. When sapphire crystals were unavailable, the flip-over case with a solid metal case-back protected their timepieces during sports.

The rectangle-shaped three-body case with a solid polished case back is set in a decorative geometric pattern with brilliant-cut factory diamonds. The inner rotating case displays the dial and is set with two lines of brilliant-cut diamonds.

This Reverso Duetto has a mechanical manual winding caliber 846/1 movement. It is rhodium-plated, has fausses-côtes decoration, and is constructed with 18 jewels. It has a free-sprung monometallic balance, a shock absorber, a straight-line lever escapement, and a self-compensating flat balance spring.
