It has a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism, and 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance-spring, a rotor with a 21K gold segment, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting.
